I think the issue goes beyond just...Great article! I think the issue goes beyond just dismissing Latino authors. The main character in my debut novel is Latina, and every single big house and agent turned it down. Just like you mentioned, a small house (out of Australia!) picked it up and now they've just offered for the second book in the series.
